    SIM Boston Providence Practitioners Roundtable

    Tuesday, December 10, 2019, 5:30 PM - 8:00 PM ET
This past June, we had a terrific event that was a combination of networking and open topic discussion over refreshments and food. For Dec. 10, we’re planning to do it again. Our primary discussion will be: Best Practices for Forming and Maintaining an IT Steering Committee For years, IT Professionals have been working on earning a “seat at the business table”. But what about the other side; giving other department leaders a “seat at the technology table”. IT Steering committees are not only essential for good Governance, but they build that trust relationship that moves the organization forward. So, how do you best build an IT Steering Committee. And, once in place, how do you keep it fresh, on-track and engaged. Bring your best practices, thoughts, and experiences and share them with your peers. Take advantage of this opportunity to discuss, share and learn. Other topics for discussion are welcome. We hope to see you there! Phil Carlucci and Robert Johnson
