SIM Women

SIM Women is an organization for women within the Society for Information Management. The group is open to all women and men in IT or who are responsible for or concerned with organizational efficiency, effectiveness and change.  The goal of this group is to provide opportunities for women to discuss topics of interest specific to women or from a women’s point of view. It is an avenue for women to network with other professionals to promote communication, mentorship, leadership and career development amongst women in IT. Meetings are held several times a year, at different times and venues to allow for maximum flexibility. Event topics range from building relationships, leadership, balancing work and family, creating meaningful win-win work situations, and ultimate career advice in interactive sessions. Nonmembers of SIM and SIM Women are encouraged to attend. Membership in SIM Women is voluntary and defined as being a member of SIM, having been a member of SIM Boston or a direct report to a member of SIM. If you would like to participate, please contact the committee chairs, Bonnie Souza and Lori Seuch, at simwomen-chairs@simboston.org.
